3.Audio Adjust
Configure various settings related to sound, such as settings for listening to multiplex audio
or multilingual TV broadcasts and sound field settings for listening modes.
Multiplex/Mono
Setting item Default Value Setting Details
Multiplex
Input Channel
Main Set the audio channel or language to be output
when playing multiplex audio or multilingual TV
broadcasts etc.
"Main": Main channel only
"Sub": Sub channel only
"Main/Sub": Main and sub channels will be
output at the same time.
• If multiplex audio is being played, "1+1" will
be displayed when DISPLAY is pressed.
Mono
Input Channel
Left+Right Set the input channel to use for playing any
2 ch digital source such as Dolby Digital, or
2-ch analog/PCM source in the Mono listening
mode.
"Left": Left channel only
"Right": Right channel only
"Left + Right": Left and right channels
Mono
Output Speaker
Center Select the speaker to output monaural audio in
the Mono listening mode.
"Center": Audio is output from the center
speaker.
"Left/Right": Audio is output from the front L/R
speakers.
• The setting cannot be changed if "Center" is
set to "None" in "Speaker Configuration".
Dolby
Make the settings for Dolby listening mode.

Off Adjust the sound field setting for playing any
2 ch digital source such as Dolby Digital or 2

Music listening mode. Select the width of sound
field.
"On": Width of sound field will be increased.
"Off": Default value
PLIIx Music

Dimension
0 Adjust the sound field setting for playing any
2 ch digital source such as Dolby Digital or 2
ch analog/PCM source in the Dolby PrologicII
Music listening mode. Select the depth of sound
field.
"-3" to "+3": The sound field shifts forward as
the set value becomes smaller than "0" and
backward if the set value become larger than
"0".

PLII Center Width
3 Configure the setting to use for playing any 2
ch digital source such as Dolby Digital, or 2-ch
analog/PCM source in the Dolby PrologicII
Music listening mode. Adjust the width of the
sound from the center speaker).
"0" to "7": The smaller the setting value is, the
more concentrated in the center speaker is
the sound, while the larger the setting value is,
the more distributed to the front left and right
speakers is the sound of the center speaker.
PLIIz Height Gain Mid Adjust the output level of the height speakers in
the Dolby Pro Logic IIz Height listening mode.
The output of the height speakers will be
enhanced in the order of "Low", "Mid" (Middle),
"High": "Low", "Mid" and "High".
• In the following cases, the setting cannot be
changed:
– "Height" is set to "None" in "Speaker
Configuration".
– "Powered Zone 2" is set to "Yes" and also
Zone2 is set to on.
