CLOCK SETTING
• Press the CLOCK set button twice.
– The hours start flashing.
• Press the TUNING Button ( or ) to adjust the
hours.
• Press the CLOCK Set button again.
– The Minutes start flashing.
• Press the TUNING Button ( or ) to adjust the
minutes.
• Press the CLOCK Set button or wait a few seconds and the clock
will start running.
TIME DISPLAY FORMAT:
• All the time information is shown in either 12h or 24h format.
– Pressing and holding the Clock button for some seconds will access the time format change mode.
The actual time format will be shown in the display, and then it could be changed by using the CLOCK
button between 12h or 24h format.
SETTING THE TIMER
• The system can switch on to TUNER, CD mode or TAPE automatically at a preset time. It can serve
as an alarm to wake you up.
• Before setting the timer, make sure the clock is set correctly.
IMPORTANT: Performing the settings below should be done quickly. When waiting too long before
pressing a button, the clock leaves the programming mode and returns to time-of-day
indication.
• Press the TIMER button once. (Using the remote control unit)
– TIMER appears on the display.
• Press the ON / OFF button once.
– The TIMER flag flashes.
• Press TUNING / SKIP / button to select the desired source.
• Press ON / OFF to confirm your selection.
Note: When select the TUNER source, the display will show “PR”, press TUNING / SKIP /
to select the preset station. Press ON / OFF button again.
– The display will shows TIMER ON and “00:00” flashes.
* In case of a 12-hour clock, watch the AM / PM indication.
• Press TUNING / SKIP / button to set the hour for timer start.
• Press ON /OFF button once.
– The minutes and ON start flashing.
• Press TUNING / SKIP / button to adjust the minutes.
• Press ON / OFF button again.
– The display will shows TIMER OFF and “00:00” flashes.
• Set the hours and minutes in the same way as above.
• Press POWER to turn the unit off.
• Wake up cassette playback.
– Set the system to the standby mode insert a recorded cassette and press the PLAY button.
SWITCHING OFF THE TIMER FUNCTION COMPLETELY
• Set the “TIMER ON / OFF” at same time (i.e. if “TIMER ON” is set at “03:00”, set “TIMER OFF” at
“03:00” as well to set timer completely off).
• Press the TIMER button until the word TIMER disappears from the display.
– The timer function is now completely switched off.
