Digital Rec mode:
Digital signals include a variety of signals such as the Dolby Digital, DTS
and PCM signals.
When REC MODE is set to AUTO, digital input signals are automatically
converted into analog stereo signals.
When REC MODE is set to MANUAL, only a specific signal among the
digital signals can be converted into analog stereo signals.
When REC MODE is switched to MANUAL in the middle of reproduc-
tion of a digital audio program, only the digital signal of the type being
reproduced will be converted into analog stereo signals.
When REC MODE is switched to MANUAL while no source is played,
only the PCM signal will be converted into analog stereo signals.
To set the Digital Rec mode:
1. Touch the
(Src.) or (Det.) so that (Src.) is reversed.
2. Select (digital rec. auto) or (digital rec. Manual).
3. When
(digital rec. auto) or (digital rec. Manual) is selected,
the receiver displays "REC MODE: AUTO" or "REC MODE: MANUAL".
