POWER SUPPLY
A. Connection of AC power cord
● Connect the AC power cord after all other connections have been made.
CAUTIONS:
1.ONLY USE WITH JVC POWER CORD PROVIDED WITH THIS
UNIT TO AVOID MALFUNCTION OR DAMAGE TO THE UNIT.
2.BE SURE TO UNPLUG THE POWER CORD FROM THE OUT-
LET WHEN GOING OUT OR WHEN THE UNIT IS NOT IN USE
FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME.
● First connect the car adapter to the DC IN 12 V jack, not the cigarette
lighter socket, because shorting of a plug on the car may cause the
fuse to blow out. In addition, be careful not to make a short-circuit
between the plugs.
● When using a car battery, be sure to use the specified car adapter
(JVC model CA-R120E) to prevent mishaps or damage resulting
from different polarity design.
B. Operation on car battery (DC 12 V)
Note:
When there is a power failure or the AC power cord is disconnected,
the timer/clock setting is erased from memory. Reset the clock when
the power supply is restored.
