To play back only intros (Intro Scan)
Each time you press RPT/INT (Repeat/Intro) while playing a CD, CD intro
scan mode turns on and off alternately.
When the intro scan mode is turned on, “INTRO” appears on the display for
5 seconds and a track number flashes. The first 15 seconds of each track
are played sequentially.

Prohibiting CD ejection
You can prohibit the CD ejection and can “lock” a CD in the loading slot.
While pressing MD/CD, press
for more than 2 seconds. “NO EJECT” flashes on the
display for about 5 seconds, and the CD is “locked” and cannot be ejected.
MD/CD
To cancel the prohibition and “unlock” the CD, press again for more than 2
seconds, while pressing MD/CD. “EJECT OK” appears on the display, and the CD is “unlocked.”
Note:
If the CD ejection is prohibited with no CD loaded, a CD or an MD can be inserted but cannot be
ejected. To eject it, cancel the prohibition.
