Basic operations
■ CAUTION
• Slide the remote control mode
selector to [AUDIO].
Examples:

Press [F AUDIO].
• Press [F AUDIO] again to turn off the main
unit.
• With the power off, pressing any of the following
buttons also turns on the main unit.
- [DVD/CD 3], [USB 3], [NETWORK 3] (only
for DD-8/DD-3), [LINE], [FM/AM] or [OPEN/
CLOSE 0] on the remote control
- 3, 0 or [SOURCE] on the main unit
The function assigned to the button starts work-
ing at the same time.
Press [AUDIO VOL +/
–
].
• Adjustable volume range is from 0 to 40.
• You can also adjust the volume by pressing
[VOLUME+/
–
] on the main unit.
NOTE
• Refer to page 18 for adjusting the volume of the
center surround speaker/subwoofer.
• Refer to page 18 for adjusting the volume bal-
ance between the left and right speakers.
Press [MUTING].
• Press [MUTING] again to restore the sound.
When the main unit is turned off once and turned
on again, the sound also is restored.
