Searching for files by name (MP3 only)
1 Call up the search function during playback by pressing »FIND«.
– Display: »A« and, if present, a corresponding file name, the magnifying glass symbol
flashes.

search fort he desired letter e.g. »M«.
3 If more than one file is present which starts with the corresponding letter (»M«),

1 Call up the search function during playback by pressing »FIND« twice.
– Display: the magnifying glass symbol and »ALBUM«, as well as the name of the first
album.
2 Scroll through the albums with »

3 Start playback of the desired album with »

– Playback begins with the first file of the selected album.
Switching the display to ticker text (MP3 only)
This function activates the ticker text display for file information (ID3 tag).
1 During playback press »FIND« and hold it down until the display changes to ticker text.
– If such information has been stored, you will see information on the file, the track, the
artist and the album in which the current file is stored.
2 To return to the constant display, press »FIND« and hold it down until the elapsed
playing time of the current file appears.
Repeating a file or a title (Repeat One)
1 During playback, press »REPEAT/PTY« once.
– Display: »REPEAT«.
– The current track is repeated.
2 To quit the function, press »REPEAT/PTY« until »REPEAT« disappears from the
display.
Repeating all files or tracks (Repeat All)
1 During playback, press »REPEAT/PTY« twice.
– Display: »REPEAT ALL«.
– The whole CD is played back again.
2 To quit the function, press »REPEAT/PTY« until »REPEAT« disappears from the
display.
