Wake To CD
Important: This model includes an automatic default to the Radio alarm if the
player cannot read the disc that you selected for wake-up. If the player cannot
read the disc's Table of Contents (TOC), it assumes that the disc is either
defective or inserted incorrectly, and the system automatically defaults to the
Radio alarm to make sure that you wake up on time. The TOC of CD-RW
discs may take longer to read than normal CD's. Therefore if you are trying to
wake to a CD-RW disc and you are awakened by the Radio alarm instead,
this is because the TOC on your CD-RW disc took too long to read.
This is normal and not an indication of any problem with your unit.
Load the desired CD, begin playback and adjust the volume to the desired level.
Press the STOP/BAND button, then STANDBY button to shut the system
‘Off’.
At the selected wake up time the CD will begin to play.
It will continue for one hour, or until the end of the
disc, and then shut off automatically.
To stop the CD alarm sooner, press STOP/BAND button, then the STANDBY
button to shut ‘Off’.
Notes: The Alarm will automatically repeat each day at the selected Wake Up
time as long as the ALARM indicator appears on the display.
To cancel the alarm, press the ALARM button until the ALARM indicator
disappears on the display.
