5.8 Optical Drive
1. Prepare the notebook for disassembly (Section 5.3).
2. Turn the notebook upside down, with the front facing you.
3. Remove the PM2.5×9.5 screw 1 that secures the optical
drive to the notebook.
4. Insert a slender tool into the slot in the hard drive bay and
push to the right to disengage the optical drive from the
notebook 2.
Removing the Optical Drive
5. Remove the optical drive.
Reverse the above procedure to install an optical drive.
