There are three parts in the oven control section:
-The display
-The command pads
-The control knobs
Instructions for the oven contiol are covered on
the following pages. Read them carefully.
When you first plug in the range, ‘88:88’ will
appear in the display. lf. after you set the clock
(page 12) 88:88” again appears on the display,
your electricity was off for a while. Reset the
clock
Display/clock
When you are not using the oven, this is an
accurate clock. When using the oven or Minute
Timer, the display will show the time settings and
what command pads have been pressed.
When showing the time of day, the display will
show the hour and minutes.
When using the Minute Timer, the display
shows minutes and seconds in the following
sequence:
l
For settings from l-59 minutes, each minute
will show in the display.
l
For settings over
1
hour, the display will
decrease or increase in l-minute increments.
When using Cook Time and/or Stop l7me. the
display shows hours and minutes.
Command pads
The command pads tell the oven what to do and
in what order. A few examples:
-Clock/Set tells the oven you are going to set
the clock
-Off/Cancel tells the oven or Minute Timer to
turn off.
Each command pad (except Off/Cancel and
Start/Enter) has its own indicator. The indicator
comes on when you touch the command pad.
