tool or attachment is free from defect s in
material and wo rkmanship and agrees to repair
or replace under t his warranty any defecti ve
gasoli ne product or attachment as follows from
the original date of purchase.
2YEARS--Parts and Labor, when used for
household purpo ses.
90 DAYS -- Parts and Labor , when used for
commercial, professional, or income producing
purposes.
30 DA YS -- Parts and Labor , if use d for rental
purposes.
This w arranty i snot transferable anddoesnot
cove r damageor liabilit y caused by improper
handling,impropermaintenanceoralteration,
or theuse ofaccessories and/orattach ments
not specifically recommended by WEED
EATER for this tool. This warr anty does not
cove r tune--up, spark plugs, filters, starter
ropes, cutt ingline, or rotating headparts that
will wear and require replacement with
reasonable use during the war ranty period.
This warranty does not cover pre--delivery
setup or normal adjustments explained in the
instruction manual. This warranty does not
cover transportation costs.
In the event yo u have a claim under this
warra nty, you must ret urn the product to a n
authorized service dealer.

EATER a re pleased t o explain the emissions
contr ol system warr anty o n your year 2010 and
later small off--r oad engine. In California, all
small of f--road engines must be designe d, built,
andequippe dtomeettheSta te’s stringentanti--
smog standards. WEE D EATER must war-
rant the emission control system on your
small off--road engine for the periods of time
listed below provided there has been no
abuse, neglect, or improper maintenance of
your small off--road engine. Your emis sion
contr ol system includes parts such as the car-
buretor, the ignition system and the fuel tank.
Wherea warrantableconditionexists, W EED
EA TER will repair your small off--road engine
at no cost to you. Expenses covered under
warranty include diagnosis, parts and labor.
MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY COV-
ERAGE:Ifanyemissions r elatedp artonyour
engine (as listed under Emissions Control
Warranty Par ts List ) is def ective or a defect in
the materia ls or workmanship of the e ng ine
causes the failu re of such an emissi on re lated
part, the part will be repaired or replaced by
WEED EATER. OWNER’SWARRANTYRE-
SPON SIBILITIES: A s the small of f--road en-
gine owner, you are responsible for the per-
formance of the required maintenance listed
in your instruction manual. WEED EATER
recommends thatyou ret ainallreceipt s cover-
ing maintenance on your small of f--roa d engine,
but WEED EA TER cann ot deny warranty solely
for the lack of receipts or for your failure to en-
sure the performance of all scheduled mainte-
nance. As the smalloff--road eng ine owner, you
should be aware that WEED EATER may deny
you warranty coverage i f your small of f--road
engine or apartof it has failed dueto abuse, ne-
