E-EQ-MX7RG-B MX7 Reference Guide
Important Battery Information
Note: The mobile device’s backup battery maintains its charge by drawing power from the
main battery pack. Always store unused devices with a fully charged main battery pack
installed. LXE recommends an in-use mobile device be frequently connected to an
external power source to maintain optimum power levels in the main battery pack and
the backup battery. When the backup battery and main battery pack are dead, the mobile
device reverts to the last saved setup defaults when a fully charged main battery pack is
installed and the device is powered On again.
Tap
| Settings | Control Panel | Battery tab.
• Until the main battery and backup battery are completely depleted, the MX7 is always
drawing power from the batteries (On).
• New batteries must be fully charged prior to use.
• Whenever possible, use the AC power adapter with the MX7 to conserve the main battery
and recharge the backup battery.
• When a new battery is installed in the MX7 for the first time (or when the backup battery is
completely depleted), the Time and Date reverts to its default values.
Tap
| Settings | Control Panel | Date/Time tab.
Note: Power drain increases substantially in Turbo mode (

Power).
