#saveloedid
The #saveloedid command saves the local EDID as a .bin or .txt le.
When saving the EDID to a le, use the YModem protocol. This process can be selecting
Transfer > Receive le... within Windows® Hyperterminal. Once the le is saved, the
message “Saving EDID successfully” will be displayed.
Syntax
#saveloedid param1
Parameters
param1 Filename (.bin or .txt)
Example
#saveloedid myedid.bin
Waiting for the le to be received ... (press ‘a’ to abort)
Notes
The #saveloedid command is useful for saving data in EDID banks. Once the data in an
EDID bank has been overwritten, the original data cannnot be restored. To backup the data
in an EDID bank, do the following:
1. Copy the EDID data from the desired EDID bank to the local input using the
#edidbatolo command.
2. Use the #saveloedid command to save the EDID data to a le.
