goes to the idiom search screen,
goes to the example
search screen, and
displays My Vocabulary List. In
entries of the Oxford Advanced
Learner’s Dictionary, examples
are accessible through the
examples link. When you see
on the screen, press until it is
highlighted, then press ENTER to
see the example entry.
Confusables by Franklin
Confusables are English
homonyms, homophones and
spelling variants that are easy to
confuse, e.g. rain, reign, rein. If the
word you looked up in the PONS
Großwörterbuch Englisch-Deutsch
or Oxford Advanced Learner’s
Dictionary is a confusable, you
see (PONS) or
(Oxford). To view Confusables, do
the following:

1. Press .
2. Press or to highlight
PONS Großwörterbuch
Englisch-Deutsch and then
press ENTER.
3. Type rain and then press
ENTER.
The dictionary entry for “rain”
is displayed. Notice at
the bottom of the screen.
Note: In the PONS
Großwörterbuch Englisch-
Deutsch, Confusables are
also accessible through the
Confusables link. When you see
on the screen, press until it
is highlighted, then press ENTER
to view the Confusables.
Note: If your word does
not have any Confusables,
pressing displays a
Confusables search screen.
Press to return to the
entry or type a word to search
for Confusables of that word.
4. Press to view the
Confusables.
