INPUT SECTION
1. INPUT JACK SOCKET
As the name suggests, this jack socket is used to connect your guitar into the amplifier. It is
important to remember that the use of high quality cables is of paramount importance to obtain
the best and most consistent performance. Although good cables can be relatively expensive, it
is without doubt a very worthwhile investment. We recommend Vox cables. Please contact your
dealer if you need assistance selecting a high-quality cable.
2. CHANNEL SELECT SWITCH
The front panel toggle switch marked CHANNEL 1/CHANNEL 2 is used to select which channel
is going to be selected for use: -
CHANNEL 1 is primarily the CLEAN/CRUNCH sounding channel & CHANNEL 2 is for much
heavier and overdriven sounds.
The rear mounted FOOTSWITCH jack socket is also available to connect the foot operated
switching box (VOX VF002) to allow remote channel switching operation.
REMEMBER! To use the Footswitch function the Front Panel, the toggle Switch MUST be set to the CHANNEL
2 position.
The associated Channel LED (Green for Ch1, Red for Ch2) will illuminate when each channel is
selected.
