Playback Setup
Turn on the TV and select the video input source
connected to the DVD Home Theater System.
TO INSERT DISCS
1. Press OPEN/CLOSE on the unit.
“OPEN SEL” will appear in the display window.
2. Press the desired DISC (1-5) on the unit.
The selected disc tray number will appear in the
display window and on the TV screen.
The drawer comes out and selected disc tray
slides out.
3. Place a disc.
Label side up When placing an 8 cm
(3 inches) disc
4. Press OPEN/CLOSE to close the tray. Playback
starts automatically. If playback does not start,
press PLAY(

).
In some cases, the disc menu might appear
instead:
TO OPEN ALL DISCS
Press EJECT ALL on the unit to open all disc trays in
the drawer during playback or stop.
“EJECT ALL” will appear in the display window.
You can check a disc in the disc tray.
TO SELECT A PLAYBACK DISC
Press DISC and press desired disc button (DISC 1-5)
on the remote control.
Tip:
You can also use the disc number play buttons on the
unit.
Notes:
•To ensure good system performance, wait until the disc
tray completely read the disc(s) before proceeding.
• The DVD Home Theater System is only able to read the
status of the current selected disc tray.
TO REPLACE DISCS DURING PLAYBACK
You are able to replace or load a disc into the other
four trays without interrupting current playback.
While playback, press OPEN/CLOSE and press the
desired DISC (1-5) on the unit to open disc tray (refer
to “TO INSERT DISCS).
Notes:
• If you press OPEN/CLOSE of the active disc tray, the disc
will stop playing and the disc tray will slide out.
• Once the disc tray is opened, it will be deselected.
• Do not place more than one compact disc on one disc tray
at the same time.
•Do not push the drawer to close as you may damage the
unit.
TO PLAY ALL DISCS ON THE DISC
TRAYS
Press PLAY(

) on the remote control or on the unit.
All the available discs will play once.
Tip:
During playback, track number and elapsed playing
time of the current track will appear in the display
window.
Note:
• This function is not available during Repeat playback or
Programmed playback mode.
