Selecting the Input/Output Source
Follow these guidelines to select and switch among
the various DVD Home Theater System input and
output sources:
• DVD/CD
To view output from the DVD deck:
Press DVD on the remote or FUNCTION on the
front panel until the DVD indicator on the front
panel lights and output from the DVD deck is
viewed on the TV screen.
• AM/FM
To listen to AM/FM radio broadcasts:
Press AM/FM on the remote to toggle between AM
and FM radio. The selected frequency appears on
the front panel display.
• INPUT
To view a source connected to the front or rear
LINE inputs:
Press AUX to select AV IN (AV 1) (for rear panel) or
LINE IN 2 (AV 2) (for front panel).
• AUX
To listen to an audio source connected to the
DIGITAL AUDIO IN (OPTICAL or COAXIAL) jack
with video from AV IN or LINE IN 2:
Press D.INPUT on the remote control once. AV 1
OPT or AV 2 OPT will appear on the front panel
display. Audio will come from an external source
connected to the DIGITAL AUDIO IN (OPTICAL)
jack and video will come from an external source
connected to the VIDEO IN jack of AV IN (for rear
panel) or LINE IN 2 (AV 2) (for front panel).
Press D.INPUT on the remote control twice. AV 1
COAX or AV 2 COAX will appear on the front panel
display. Audio will come from an external source
connected to the DIGITAL AUDIO IN (COAXICAL)
jack and video will come from an external source
connected to the VIDEO IN jack of AV IN (for rear
panel) or LINE IN 2 (AV 2) (for front panel).
To listen to an audio source connected to the
AUDIO IN jack of AV IN or LINE IN 2 with video
from AV IN or LINE IN 2 :
Press AUX on the remote control three times.
AV 1 or AV 2 will appear on the front panel display.
Audio will come from an external source connected
to the AUDIO IN jacks of AV IN (for rear panel) or
LINE IN 2 (AV 2) (for front panel) and video will
come from an external source connected to the
VIDEO IN jack of AV IN (for rear panel) or LINE IN
2 (AV 2) (for front panel).
