TheTAS5518PAGisahigh-performance32-bit(24-bitinput)multichannelPurePath
Digitalpulse-widthmodulator(PWM)basedonEquibit™technology,withafully
symmetricalADmodulationscheme.Itacceptsinputsampleratesfrom32kHzto
192kHz.Thedevicealsohasdigitalaudioprocessing(DAP)thatprovides48-bitsignal
processing,advancedperformance,andahighlevelofsystemintegration.Thedevice
hasinterfacesforheadphoneoutputandpowersupplyvolumecontrol(PSVC).
TheTAS5152DKDisacompact,high-power,digitalamplifierpowerstagedesignedto
drivea4-Ωloudspeakerupto125W(10%THD+N).Itcontainsintegratedgatedrivers,
fourmatchedandelectricallyisolatedenhancement-modeN-channelpowerDMOS
transistors,andprotection/fault-reportingcircuitry.
TheDKDPowerPAD™packagetopsideallowsheattransferthroughaheatsink.The
heatsinkinthisdesignisforevaluationpurposesonly.
ThisEVM,togetherwithaTIinput-USBboard,isacomplete7-channeldigitalaudio
amplifiersystemthatincludesdigitalinput(S/PDIF),analoginputs,interfacetoPC,and
DAPfeatures,suchasdigitalvolumecontrol,inputandoutputmixers,automute,
equalization,tonecontrols,loudness,dynamicrangecompression,andPSVCoutput.
Thereareconfigurationoptionsforstereolineleveloutput,stereoheadphoneoutput,
andpower-stagefailureprotection.
This6.1systemisdesignedforhome-theaterapplications,suchasA/Vreceivers,DVD
minicomponentsystems,hometheaterinabox(HTIB),DVDreceivers,orplasma
displaypanels(PDPs).
