•Afterconnectingthepowersupplyandturningiton,thepowersupplycurrentmustbe~50mA.The
amplifierresetLEDmustbeon.
–ThePVDDand3.3-VLEDsmustbeon.Ifnot,checktheconnectionstothepowersupply.
•ConnecttheSPDIFcable,eitheropticalorcoaxial,toanSPDIFsource.
•ConnecttheUSBcableandtheUSBLED(blueLEDmustbeon).
–TheEVMmustenumeratewithouttheinstallationofaUSBdriver;itisaWindows™audioclass
device.
•StarttheGUI.(ItmustnotgiveanindicationofCOMMUNICATIONERROR).

TheTAS5102/3EVMmodulemustbepoweredfromawell-regulatedexternalpowersupply.Goodaudio
performancerequiresastabilizedpowersupplywithlowripplevoltageandlowoutputimpedance.
Note:Thelengthofpowersupplycablemustbeminimized.IncreasingthelengthofthePSUcable
isequaltoincreasingthedistortionfortheamplifierathighoutputlevelsandlow
frequencies.
Maximumoutputstagesupplyvoltagedependsofthespeakerloadresistance.Fortherecommended
