System Confi gurations
Unbalanced Connections
If your preamplifi er has RCA out-
puts, it can be connected to the ampli-
fi er inputs as shown. The amplifi er will
boost the preamplifi er's output, up to a
level suitable for driving speakers.
This diagram also shows how the
Voltage Source outputs connect to
the input posts of your speakers. (The
Current Source can be used instead,
as shown on the next page).
The following pages show some typical con nec tions that you might make in your in stal la tion. They show how the inputs
and outputs of the Theater Grand Amplifi er are con nected to your pream pli fi er and speakers.

Make sure that the posi-
tive speaker wires do not
touch the negative speaker
wires, or any chassis metal.
This will cause a short circuit and may
damage your amplifi er or speakers.
