You can wake up to music at a preset time.
Make sure you have set the clock (see "Setting
the clock" on page 10).
1 Prepare the music source you want to
play.
• CD: Load a CD. To start from a
specific track, make a program (see
"Programing CD tracks" on page 12).
• Tape: Load a tape with the side you
want to play facing lbrward.
• Radio: Tune in ll_e preset station you
want (see "Listening to the radio" on
page 15).
2 Adjust the volume.
3 Press CLOCK/TIMER SET on the
remote.
"DAILY SET" appears.
4 Press ENTER on the remote.
"ON" appears and the hour indicalion
flashes.
5 Set the time to start playing.
Press _ or _ on the remote
repeatedly to set the hour, ll_en press
ENTER on ll_e remote.
The minute indication flashes.
Press _ or _ on the remote
repeatedly to set the minule, then press
ENTER on ll_e remote.
6 Repeat step 5 to set the time to stop
playing.
7 Press _ or _ on the remote
repeatedly until the music source you
want appears.
The indication changes as follows:
8 Press ENTER on the remote.
The type of timer ("DAILY"), tbllowed by
the starl time, slop time, and lhe music
source appear, then ll_e original display
appears.
9 Press I/_ to turn off the system.

• When you use the Sleep Timer, lhe Daily Timer
will not turn on the syslem until the Sleep Timer
turns it oftl
• You cannot activ_le the Daily Timer and Timer-
recording at the same time.
• Iflhe system is on at the preset time, you cannot
activate the Daily Timer.
