1 Set the MIC 1 and MIC 2 LEVEL controls on the
player to MIN, then plug the microphone(s) into
the MIC 1 and/or MIC 2 jacks.

When using the karaoke microphone F-V98K,
F-VK600, etc. (not supplied), plug the control plug
into the CONTROL (MIC 1/2) jack. Note that the
CHOI-MODOSHI function does not work when
you plug a microphone with a control plug to this
player.
2 Before you start playing, set the MODE selector
on the player to KARAOKE.
The following screen appears.

3 Press DISC 1 - 5 (or DISC and number button of
the disc (1 - 5) on the remote) to select the disc.
The disc number appears on the TV screen.

4 Press one of the number buttons to select the track
you want to play.
To select a track numbered over 15 (or 10 with the
remote), use the >15 button (or the >10 button on
the remote) (see page 17).

Play starts automatically.
5 Turn the MIC 1 and/or MIC 2 LEVEL control to
adjust the microphone volume.
To stop playback
Press p.
Notes
• If howling occurs:
– Move the microphone(s) away from the TV or the
speakers.
– Lower the volume of the TV or the amplifier.
– Lower the microphone volume or echo level.
• If the sound is distorted when the player is connected to a
TV:
– Lower the microphone volume and music level.
