About the wireless rear speakers
This wireless rear speaker system adopts the Digital Infrared Audio Transmission system (page
78). The following diagram indicates the infrared transmission area (the range that the infrared
rays can reach).
Notes
When you use the rear speakers in wireless setting, do not install them in a place exposed to direct sunlight or
strong light such as an incandescent lamp. Otherwise, the reaching range of the audio signal may be insufficient.
If the room where you place the wireless rear speakers is too big or its ceiling is too high, such as in a big hall,
make sure that there is no obstruction such as a person or object in the line of sight that links the top of the front
speaker with that of the rear speaker. Otherwise, the sound from the rear speakers may be interrupted.
Mixed signals may result if you use this wireless rear speaker system at the same time as other infrared
transmission devices that use 3 MHz - 6 MHz waveband.
z If you have to place the rear speakers in a place where the wireless setting is unusable, it is recommended to
use the speakers in their wired setting (page 24).
