For BDV-F700
“ALL SYNC”: moves the illumination to
match all the audio.
•“MUSIC SYNC
: moves the illumination
to match the music or the radio only.
“SIMPLE 1”: turns on the illumination
when you load or eject a disc. The
illumination does not move to match the
audio.
“SIMPLE 2”: turns on the illumination
when you press a button.
For BDV-F500
“STANDARD”
: turns on the illumination
at all times.
“SIMPLE”: turns on the illumination for
about 10 seconds when you press a button.
4 Press .
The setting is made.
(Flow Light)
(BDV-F700 only)
When “ALL SYNC” or “MUSIC SYNC” is
selected in “ILLUM MODE,” you can select
how to move the illumination.
1 Press SYSTEM MENU.
2 Press X/x repeatedly until “FLOW
LIGHT” appears in the front panel
display, then press or c.
3 Press X/x to select a setting.
“FLUID”: displays slow, elastic
illumination to match the sound.
“SHARP”: displays bright, dazzling
illumination to match the sound.
4 Press .
The setting is made.
Note
Depending on the music source, the Flow Light
function may not work.
(Illumination Demo)
(BDV-F700 only)
You can select whether or not to activate the
illumination demonstration while the system is
in standby mode. When this function is
activated, the illumination demonstration can be
started by pressing a button on the unit (except
for "/1).
1 Press SYSTEM MENU.
2 Press X/x repeatedly until “ILLUM
MODE” appears in the front panel
display, then press or c.
3 Press X/x to select a setting.
“DEMO ON”: On.
“DEMO OFF”: Off.
4 Press .
The setting is made.
Deactivating the Buttons
on the Unit
(Child Lock)
You can deactivate the buttons on the unit
(except for "/1) for preventing misoperation,
such as child mischief (child lock function).
Press x on the unit for more than 5
seconds.
“CHILD LOCK” and “ON” appear in the front
panel display.
The child lock function is activated and the
buttons on the unit are locked. (You can operate
the system by using the remote.)
To cancel, press x for more than 5 seconds so
that “CHILD LOCK” and “OFF” appear in the
front panel display.
Note
• When you operate the buttons on the unit while the
child lock function is on, “CHILD LOCK” appears in
the front panel display.
