Panel Descriptions
Optical Port
This port is used to connect optical cables or optical cords. Two-core multimode, 50/125 micrometer core
diameter optical fibers are supported.
Please use one of the following models of Neutrik’s Mobile Fiber Cable for the optical cable.
NKO2M-xxx(*): A 1-system cable that uses one pair of S-OPT units.
NKO4MY-xxx(*): A 2-system cable that uses two pairs of S-OPT units. Convenient when using redundant
(MAIN/BACKUP) REAC.
(*) The cable model number is determined by specifications such as the cable length. Contact Neutrik for
further details.
Please use an optical cord equipped with a Dual LC connector (standard LC-Duplex connector, IEC
61754-20) for optical cords.
Status Indicators
These indicators display the status of the REAC or optical signal. The indicators operate as shown below.
REAC Port
This port is used to connect REAC devices and REAC cables. Connect to a REAC device using the REAC cable which
comes with the S-OPT, a SC-W100S REAC cable, or a Cat5e Ethernet cable equipped with an RJ45 plug.
POWER Indicator EXT, INT
This indicator displays the power supply status. When power is supplied from AC IN on the rear panel, the INT
LED lights blue. In addition, if another S-OPT is connected to the POWER LINK connector with a proprietary
POWER LINK cable (ARC-15, sold separately) and power is supplied from the other S-OPT, then the EXT LED lights
blue.
