Manual tuning
To change the frequency one
step at a time, press the TUNE
+/– buttons.
High speed tuning
Press and hold
the TUNE +/– buttons for high
speed tuning. Release the
button at the frequency you
want.
Tuning directly to a station
Sometimes, you’ll already know
the frequency of the station you
want to listen to. In this case, you
can simply enter the frequency
directly using the number buttons
on the remote control.
1 Press the TUNER button to
select the tuner.
2 Use the BAND button to
change the band (FM or AM), if
necessary.
Each press switches the band
between FM and AM.
3 Press D.ACCESS (Direct
Access).
4 Use the number buttons to
enter the frequency of the radio
station.
For example, to tune to 106.00
(FM), press 1, 0, 6, 0, 0.
If you make a mistake halfway
through, press D.ACCESS twice to
cancel the frequency and start
over.
Improving FM stereo sound
If the TUNED or STEREO indica-
tors don't light when tuning to an
FM station because the signal is
weak, press the MPX button to
switch the receiver into mono
reception mode. This should
improve the sound quality and
allow you to enjoy the broadcast.

Sintonización directa de una
emisora
A veces, ya sabrá la frecuencia de
la emisora que desea escuchar. En
esos casos, simplemente puede
introducir directamente la
frecuencia utilizando los botones
numerados del mando a distancia.
1 Pulse el botón TUNER para
seleccionar el sintonizador.
2 Utilice el botón BAND para
cambiar la banda (FM o AM), si
es necesario.
Cada vez que pulsa, se cambia la
banda entre FM y AM.
3 Pulse D.ACCESS (Acceso
Directa).
4 Utilice los botones
numerados para introducir la
frecuencia de la emisora de
radio.
Por ejemplo, para sintonizar
106.00 (FM), pulse 1, 0, 6, 0, 0.
En caso de que cometa un fallo
durante el proceso, pulse dos
veces D.ACCESS para cancelar la
frecuencia y empezar de nuevo.
Cómo mejorar el sonido
estéreo FM
En caso de que los indicadores
TUNED o STEREO no se iluminen
cuando sintonice una emisora de
FM, debido a que la señal es débil,
pulse el botón MPX para cambiar
el receptor a modo de recepción
monoaural. De este modo se
mejorará la calidad y le permitirá
disfrutar de la transmisión.
