Selecting the multi-
channel analog
inputs
If you have connected a decoder or
a DVD player with multi-channel
analog outputs to this receiver
(page 18), you must select the
analog multi-channel inputs for 5.1
channel playback.
1 Select DVD/LD if it is not
already selected.
Use the MULTI CONTROL buttons
on the remote (or the MULTI JOG/
INPUT SELECTOR dial on the front
panel).
2 Press SIGNAL SELECT (front
panel) repeatedly to select DVD
5.1 ch.
To cancel 5.1 channel playback,
use the SIGNAL SELECT button to
select an input signal (other than
DVD 5.1 ch).
• When 5.1 channel playback is
selected, you can’t use the
SIGNAL SELECT, INPUT ATT,
TONE, and MIDNIGHT/
LOUDNESS buttons, as well
as the Standard, Advanced
Surround, and Stereo/Direct
sound modes.
• When 5.1 channel playback is
selected, only the volume and
channel levels can be set.

multicanal a este receptor (página
18), deberá seleccionar las
entradas analógicas multicanal
para una reproducción de 5.1
canales.
1 Seleccione DVD/LD si aún no
está seleccionado.
Utilice los botones MULTI
CONTROL del mando a distancia
(o el selector MULTI JOG/INPUT
SELECTOR del panel frontal).
2 Pulse repetidamente SIGNAL
SELECT (panel frontal) para
seleccionar DVD 5.1 ch.
Para cancelar la reproducción de
5.1 canales, utilice el botón
SIGNAL SELECT para seleccionar
una señal de entrada (distinta de
DVD 5.1 ch).
Nota
• Cuando está seleccionada la
reproducción de 5.1 canales,
no se pueden utilizar los
botones SIGNAL SELECT,
INPUT ATT, TONE, y MID-
NIGHT/LOUDNESS, así como
tampoco los modos de sonido
Estándar, Surround avanzado,
y Estéreo/Directo.
• Cuando está seleccionada la
reproducción de 5.1 canales,
sólo pueden ajustarse los
niveles de canal y volumen.
