Recording operations

Recording CDs
Preparation:
Tracks are recorded in the order in which they are found on the CD.
Tracks are cut in the middle when the end of the tape is reached.
You can record from any point on the tape.
A To record specific CDs/tracks
1 Press [CD 3/8] and then [STOP 7].
2 Press [PLAY MODE] to select your desired mode.
1-TRACK

1-ALBUM (MP3)
RANDOM
For 1-TRACK mode

For 1-ALBUM mode (MP3)
Press [ALBUM ( or )] to select the album.
3 Press [/8 REC] to start recording.
To record programmed tracks
This function allows you to record up to 24 programmed tracks.
1 Programme the track(s) you want.

2 Press [/8 REC] to start recording.
B Erasure prevention
The illustration shows how to remove the tabs to prevent re-
cording. To record on the tape again, cover as shown.
To erase a recorded sound
Insert the cassette to be recorded on (\ page 17).
Press [TAPE] and then [STOP 7].
Press [/8 REC].
Your attention is drawn to the fact that recording pre-
recorded tapes or discs or other published or broadcast
material may infringe copyright laws.
