■ Lock or unlock the keys
Slide the key lock switch towards the music key to lock or towards the
top of the headset to unlock the headset keys. A note and are shown
on the display. When the keys are locked, all key presses are ignored. If
you receive a call, the keys are unlocked until you end the call.
■ View the time
When the headset is connected to a compatible phone, the headset
receives the current time from the phone and shows it in the standby
mode, if your Nokia phone supports the transfer of this information into
the headset. (In the standby mode, the headset is switched on but it is
not used.) To adjust the time, use the clock function in your phone.
■ See missed calls and received messages
When you miss a call, is shown on the headset display.
indicates that you have at least one unread text or multimedia
message that you can view on the phone.
You are notified of new messages and missed calls only if your Nokia
phone supports the transfer of this information into the headset.
■ Reset the headset
You can reset the headset to clear all settings. Press and hold the power
key and the volume up key for 10 seconds. The headset display indicates
when the headset has been reset.
■ Troubleshooting
If you cannot connect the headset to your phone, do as follows:
• Make sure that the headset is charged, switched on, and paired with
your phone.
• Make sure that the Bluetooth feature is activated on your phone.
• Check that the headset is within 10 meters of your phone and that
there are no obstructions between the headset and the phone, such
as walls or other electronic devices.
