Standby
When powered up, your AKURATE Tuner will be in standby and the
display will show the standby symbol .
To toggle between standby mode and operating mode:
• Press on the front panel or handset.
Note:
Standby mode reduces the power used by the unit and is useful for
situations where the unit is not being used for a short time and/or
requires to be switched on remotely. For longer periods of non-use,
switching off at the mains (using the mains switch at the rear or
unplugging) is recommended.

Region selection
The first time the AKURATE Tuner is brought out of standby, the
display shown below appears on the front panel.
The AKURATE Tuner must be set for the correct FM and AM frequency
range for your country. Use the
PPRREESSEETT -- // ++
keys on the front panel to
select your region (see information below), then press .

If you wish to change the region setting at a later date:
• Press
