PROBLEM CAUSE CORRECTION
No power. • The power cord is
disconnected.
• Plug the power cord into the wall
outlet securely.
No sound. • The speaker wires are
disconnected.
• The MASTER VOLUME is
adjusted too low.
• The MUTE button is pressed
to ON.
• The selected decoding
mode is not matched to the
input signal format.
• Incorrect selection of input
source.
• Incorrect connections
between the components.
• Check the speaker connections.
• Adjust the MASTER VOLUME.
• Press the MUTE button to cancel
the muting eect.
• Select the available decoding
mode.
• Select the desired input source
correctly.
• Make connections correctly.
Radio stations can’t
be tuned in properly.
• The antenna is positioned or
connected poorly.
• The signal strength of the
radio station is too weak.
• No stations have been
preset or preset stations
have been cleared (when
tuning by scanning preset
channels).
• Check the antenna connection
and adjust its position.
• Tune to the station manually.

page 28 for details.
