Connecting the
portable device
1. Connect the PORT. IN jack on the unit to the
LINE OUT jack on your Portable device (MP3
player, etc...) using a portable cable ( 3.5
mm).

2. Set the input source to PORTABLE (Page 24).
Connecting the
antennas
Connect the supplied AM loop antenna and
FM wire antenna.
Before connecting the antenna, be sure to
disconnect the AC power cord.

NOTE
• To prevent noise pickup, keep the AM Loop
antenna away from the unit and other
components.
• Be sure to fully extend the FM wire antenna.
• After connecting the FM wire antenna, keep it as
horizontal as possible.
