The FBI is equipped with a pair of single-ended preamplifier out-
puts (19). These outputs enable the FBI to be used as a preampli-
fier when it is connected to a separate amplifier.
The amplifier channel outputs are always active, even when the FBI is
being used only as a preamplifier.
