Powering Up
Turn the Tiger system ON by rotating the power switch/volume control clock-
wise just past the “click.” Blue light behind the main ampli er control knobs
will illuminate to indicate the system is ready for operation. Leave the volume
control at minimum initially.
Listening to Your Program Source
Make sure the input selector is set correctly, corresponding to your connected
source. Then, start playing your music source. If the source component has its
own volume control, advance it partially.
Gradually turn up the volume control on the Tiger ampli er. If the source com-
ponent has its own volume control,  nd a setting that gives you the desired
range of adjustment with the Tiger’s volume control.
Set the bass level control on the lower front panel to achieve a natural, bal-
anced sound. Experiment with woofer placement, if desired, to  ne-tune
system performance. For more information, please refer to the section of this
manual on woofer placement (page 5).
