Convenient CD recording
Recording preparations are required.
(Steps 1 to 4)
Recording digital sound tracks
(DIGITAL SOURCE RECORDING) (NV-701 only)
When a multichannel digital source is input from
an externally connected component such as a DVD,
the sound track can be recorded as a stereo mix.
When effects are applied to the sound, the
effect applied to the sound can be re-
corded.

+“Digital Rec Mode” is scrolled in the display
To end recording in the middle
÷ The cassette deck stops.
+“Press “ENTER” to save” is scrolled in the
display.

÷ When “A–Rec Mode” automatic recording is
selected, the tape player starts recording when an
audio signal is detected.
÷ When “M–Rec Mode” manual recording is selected,
the tape player starts recording when the ÷ (record)
key is pressed.
The following items can be selected by pressing the
MULTI CONTROL keys repeatedly.

“M–Rec Mode”
(NV-701 only) Pressing the VIDEO/6ch IN key re-
peatedly switches the input between the compo-
nents connected to the VIDEO 1 and VIDEO 2 jacks.
