Switching the display during the tape mode:
Each time you press the DISP button, the display switches as
follows:
The tape counter is not exact, but only represents an
approximation of the elapsed time.

Switching Display
Repeatedly plays the track currently being listened to.
Turning Music Repeat On/Off:
Press the REP button to switch music repeat on/off.
The REP indicator lights up when music repeat is turned on.
Canceling Music Repeat:
Press either the REP or 38 button.
Music repeat "knows" where a track begins by detecting the blank
space preceding it (the space between tracks). However, when
the blank space lasts for less than four seconds or contains noise,
this function may not operate correctly. Furthermore, sections
that are recorded at low levels may trigger the function if they last
for four seconds or more.
NOTE
Music Repeat
Successively plays the first 10 seconds of each track on the
tape.
Turning Index Scan On/Off:
Press the SCN button to switch index scan on/off.
The SCN indicator lights up when index scan is turned on.
Stopping to Listen to the Track Being Scanned:
Press either the SCN or 38 button.
Playback begins as usual.
Index scan is canceled when the tape stops.
Index scan "knows" where a track begins by detecting the blank
space preceding it (the space between tracks). However, when
the blank space lasts for less than 4 seconds or contains noise,
this function may not operate correctly. Furthermore, sections
that are recorded at low levels may trigger the function if they
