How to use the MODE button
Press MODE repeatedly to select the different
functions available during play.

Ex.: When “SSM” is selected
While listening to the radio:
• You cannot select “SSM” or “SCAN”
if you are listening to the station stored
in the EX (extra) button, see page 10 for
details.
While listening to a disc:
While listening to a tape:
While adjusting the sound mode:
• Pressing MODE allows you to store the
adjusted sound mode into memory. (See
page 19 for details.)
