4 Start the music application and
play any music on your PC.
The PLAYER indicator on the transmitter
flashes.
Your PC music is transmitted to the system.
Enjoy listening!
NOTE
Refer also to the manuals supplied with the music
application software installed in the PC.
When not using the PC as the playback source,
disconnect the transmitter.
The music may not be played back correctly—
interrupted or degraded—due to your PC settings
and PC specifications.
The signal-reachable distance is about 20 m, but it
may differ depending on the operating conditions
and circumstances.
Though the transmitter may become hot, it is not a
malfunction.
If no music is played on the PC for about 30
minutes
The transmitter enters “sleep” mode
(“SEARCHING” is displayed and the indicator
behind the door flashes). Playing music from the
PC will reactivate the wireless transmission.
“NO AUDIO” is displayed and the indicator goes
off 5 minutes after the system displays
“SEARCHING” (or no music source is detected
by the system).
How to install the driver (for Windows
R
98/
98SE)
For the first time the transmitter is connected,
“Add New Hardware Wizard” appears after
“New Hardware Found” message is shown for a
while. Install the driver as follows using the
Wizard.
Prepare the Windows
R
98/98SE installation
CD-ROM supplied with your PC
1 Click “Next”.
2 Select “Search for the best driver for your
device (Recommended),” then click “Next”.
3 Choose “CD-ROM drive” for the location of
driver.
4 Insert the Windows
R
98/98SE installation CD-
ROM into the CD-ROM drive of the PC, then
click “Next”.
You may select to use “Specify a location”
if your Windows
R
98/98SE drivers already
exist inside your PC hard disc.
5 Click “Next” again.
6 Click “Finish” to complete the installation.
You may need to restart Windows.
