Using the RDS (Radio Data System) to
Receive FM Stations
RDS allows FM stations to send additional
signals with their regular programme signals. For
example, the stations send their station names,
and information about what type of programmes
they broadcast, such as sports or music, etc.
This unit can receive the following types of RDS
signals:
PS (Programme Service):
shows commonly known station names.
PTY (Programme Type):
shows types of broadcast programmes.
RT (Radio Text):
shows text messages the station sends.
TA (Traffic Announcement):
shows traffic announcements being broadcast.

El RDS permite que las estaciones de FM
envíen señales adicionales con las señales de
los programas normales. Por ejemplo, las
estaciones envían sus nombres, e información
acerca del tipo de programas que difunden
tales como deportes o música, etc.
Esta unidad puede recibir los siguientes tipos
de señales RDS:
PS (Servicio de programación):
muestra nombres de radiodifusoras conocidas.
PTY (Tipo de programa):
muestra los tipos de programas emitidos.
RT (Texto por radio):
muestra mensajes textuales que la estación
emite.
TA (Anuncio de tráfico):
muestra anuncios de tráfico que están siendo
emitidos.

Uso del sistema RDS (sistema dati radio) per
ricevere stazioni FM
Il sistema RDS permette alle stazioni FM di
trasmettere segnali addizionali oltre ai normali
segnali dei programmi regolari. Per esempio, le
stazioni possono trasmettere il nome della
stazione ed informazioni riguardanti il tipo di
programma, come sport, musica, ecc.
L'unità è in grado di ricevere i seguenti tipi di
segnale RDS:
PS (Servizio Programma):
per i nomi di stazioni comunemente noti.
PTY (Tipo Programma):
per il tipo di programma.
RT (Testo Radio):
per messaggi trasmessi dalla stazione.
TA (Annuncio Traffico):
per annunci sul traffico.
Preset tuning
● The stations must be preset before this
operation can be performed.
Using the main unit
1 Press the TUNER/BAND button.
2 Select the band using the TUNER/BAND
button.
3 To select the requied preset station, turn the
MULTI JOG dial.

3 Presione los botones (No. 1 - No. 10 y +10)
de la estación presintonizada deseada.
● En el visor aparecen el número de estación
presintonizada y la frecuencia corres-
pondiente al botón presionado.

LW) loop antenna.
