Replacement Parts–When replacement
parts are required, make sure that the
service technician uses replacement parts
specified by the manufacturer that have the
same characteristics as the original part.
Unauthorized substitutions may result in fire,
electric shock, injury to persons, or other
hazards.
Safety Check–Upon completion of any
service or repairs to your home theater
system, ask the service technician to perform
routine safety checks to determine that your
home theater system is in correct operating
condition.
Heat–Place your home theater system away
from heat sources such as radiators, heat
registers, stoves, or other products (including
amplifiers) that produce heat.
Stacking–Place the home theater system in
a horizontal position, and do not place
anything heavy on it.
Condensation–Moisture may form on the
pickup lens in the following conditions:
Immediately after a heater has been
turned on.
In a steamy or very humid room.
When the unit is suddenly moved from a
cold environment to a warm one.
If you suspect this to be the case, turn the
power off and wait at least one hour for the
moisture to evaporate.
To avoid interference while watching
television–When not in use, we recommend
that you leave the power for your home
theater system turned off. If you experience
interference during normal television viewing,
simply turn the DVD receiver deck off. This is
not a malfunction of the home theater system
or the television.
Cautions on adjusting volume–Do not turn
up the volume while listening to a portion with
very low level inputs or no audio signals. If
you do, the speakers may be damaged when
a peak level portion is played.
