Youcanusetherecorderonan Ethernetnetwork10Mbyte/sor100Mbyte/s.
IncaseofanetworkusingaBNCcable,youwillhavetouseanexternalHubtoconverttheBNC
signalintoRJ45 signal(useastraightcable).
IfyouonlyhaveaPCcomputerwithoutanetwork,youcanalsouseanordinary-laycabledirectly
betweenthePCandtherecorder.

asub-networkmask.
AskyournetworkmanageranIPaddresswiththecorrespondingmask.Afterentryofthevalues,
turntheapplianceoffandontovalidatethenewaddress.
Ifyoudon thaveanetworkmanager:
Checkthatthe TCP/IPdriverhasbeeninstalledonyourcomputer.
InthecaseofaPCwithWin95orWin98:
Startingfromthewindowsexplorer,goto"Workstation",then"Configurationboard",then
"Network".
Checkthatthe TCP/IPprotocolhasbeeninstalled,thenchecktheIPaddressandthesub-network
mask.
MakesurethatyourIPaddressandyourmaskarecompatiblewiththoseofthedistantcomputer.
