Biamped Connections (Low Pass and High Pass)
This connection shows two RPA-1 ampliers used in a bi-amp mode. One of the ampliers is connected to
the low frequency drivers and has a low pass lter employed by the preamplier. The other amplier has a
high pass lter employed and is connected to the mid and high frequency drivers. Please note that if using
this conguration with the Emotiva RSP-1 preamplier, the SUB out is a L+R mono output and may not be
suitable for your stereo speaker situation. If so, you will have to split this signal with a “Y” adapter cable.
This setup is mostly ideal when smaller component speakers will be used with a separately placed
subwoofer.
