Power Up Your Crosley
1 Your new Crosley is equipped with a POWER
button and a STANDBY button. When you first
plug your radio in, push the POWER button in.
Doing this will turn on a red light right above the
POWER button. You should leave this button
pushed in at all times. Turning off the main
power will erase all settings and stations you
have programmed into your radio.
2 Once the red light is on, press the STANDBY
button. This will turn the red light to green. Your
radio is now ready to operate. Use the STANDBY
button to turn the power on or off. When the
radio is on standby, all the stations and presets
will remain stored.
Functions
Electronic Volume Control
1 Press the VOL+ button to increase the volume.
The volume level will be shown in the LCD
display.
Note: Volume range for some units may start
at level 15 and end at level 40.
2 Press the VOL- button to decrease the volume.
3 Press and hold either the VOL+ or the VOL-
button to continuously increase or decrease the
volume. The volume will continue to increase
or decrease until the button is released.
4 Press the MUTE button to set the volume to 0.
Press the MUTE button again to return to the
previous volume level.
Function Select
1 Press the TUNER button to enable the AM/ FM
tuning function. When in tuner mode, the LCD
will display the band (AM/FM), and the station
frequency.
2 Press the CD button to set to CD mode. When
first set to CD mode, the display will search for
CD and track information.
3 Press the PHONO button to set to phono mode.
When in phono mode, the display will read
“LINE”.
4 Press the TAPE button to set to cassette mode.
The display will read “TAPE” when in cassette
mode.
Equalizer
1 Your radio has a built in equalizer. The equalizer
fine tunes the sound according to the type of
music you like. Pressing the EQ button results
in the following changes:

Receiving tuning frequency display
TACK
ROCK
Equalizer “ROCK”
FLAT
ROCK
Jazz
CLASSIC
POP
