Information
About A
Waypoint
You can access the Waypoint database by either
looking directly or by using a feature that draws
information from the database, such as using
Emergency Search or creating a Flight plan. This
section will describe going directly into the database,
the other methods of using the waypoint database will
be covered in the sections about the specific features.
See “Select a Waypoint” in the Getting Started
section on page 1 for more details on searching for
waypoints.
1. Press the
DB key. Turn the LARGE knob to view the
“Access Database” page, and then press
ENTER.

2. The waypoint type field will flash. Choose Airport,
VOR, NDB, Intersection, or User-defined with the
SMALL knob.
