Salt Efficiency
When this feature is ON, the water softener will operate at salt efficiencies of 4000grains of hardness
per pound of salt or higher. (May recharge more often using smaller salt dosage and less water). The
softener is shipped in the OFF setting.
1. Press and hold the
PROGRAM button until the f ollowing screen is d i splayed.
Once in th is display, press the PROGRAM button and one of the following two displays is
shown.

2. Press the
+
Up or
−
Down buttons to set On or Off. When set to On, the efficiency icon will
be displayed in the upper right hand corner of the norma l run display.
3. Press the
PROGRAM button once again, to return to normal run display.
