RUNNING THE ENGINE
ENGINE CONTROL
This is mounted at the top left side of the handle (most models). It operates the choke, for
starting, and allows you to set the governed speed of the engine while cutting or to stop the
engine.
You will not need to change the control setting
constantly while mowing because the governor
holds the selected speed, even under varying
cutting loads. The positions for CHOKE, FAST,
SLOW and STOP are marked.
