a From the Apple menu, choose Control Panels.
b If there is not a Control Panel for your printer, install the printer software.
• The paper is loaded correctly. For help, see Load the paper.
• The correct paper tray is selected in your software application and on the printer. For
help, see Paper is not feeding from the correct paper tray.
• You installed the cartridges correctly. For help, see Replacing the print cartridge.
• The printer is set as the default printer.
To set the printer to be the default printer:
a From your desktop, highlight the Lexmark Z65 printer icon.
b From the Printing menu, select Set Default Printer.
• The printer is connected directly to your computer, a network connection, or through a
Lexmark adapter.
After you check all of the previous items, try Printing a test page.
