GETTING STARTED
Front panel display of the center system
1 Decoder indicators
The respective indicator lights up when any of the
decoders of the system is functioning.
2 DOCK indicator
Lights up when the system is receiving a signal
from an iPod stationed in the Yamaha iPod
universal dock (such as YDS-10 or YDS-11, sold
separately) connected to the DOCK terminal of the
subwoofer/system control. ( P. 27)
Lights up while the Yamaha Bluetooth audio
receiver (such as YBA-10, sold separately) is
connected to the Bluetooth component. ( P. 29)
Flashes while the connected Yamaha Bluetooth
audio receiver (such as YBA-10, sold separately)
and the Bluetooth component are pairing or while
the Yamaha Bluetooth audio receiver is searching
for the Bluetooth component. ( P. 29)
3 ENHANCER indicator
Lights up when compressed music enhancer mode is
selected. ( P. 21)
4 NIGHT indicator
Lights up when you select night listening mode.

5 Tuner indicators (AUTO/TUNED/STEREO/
MEMORY)
AUTO indicator
Lights up when the system is in automatic tuning
mode. ( P. 23)
TUNED indicator
Lights up when the system is receiving a station.

STEREO indicator
Lights up when the system is receiving a strong signal
from an FM stereo broadcast in automatic tuning
mode. ( P. 23)
MEMORY indicator
Flashes to show a station can be stored.

6 Multi information display
Shows the selected input source, current surround
mode and other information.
7 MUTE indicator/VOLUME indicator
Flashes while the mute function is activated.

Indicates the current volume level.
