1 STANDBY/ON
Turns this system on, or set it to the standby mode. When
you turn this system on, you will hear a click and there
will be a 4 to 5-second delay before this system can
reproduce sound.
Standby mode
In this mode, this system will consume a small amount
of power in order to receive infrared-signals from the
remote control.
2 Remote control sensor
Receives signals from the remote control.
3 Front panel display
Shows information about the operational status of this
system.
4 STEREO
Switches between normal stereo and DSP effect
reproduction. When STEREO is selected, 2-channel
signals are directed to the front left and right speakers
without effect sounds.
5 VOLUME +/
Controls the output level of all audio channels.
This does not affect the output level at the VCR OUT
jacks.
6 PHONES (
SILENT)
Allows you enjoy DSP effect for private listening with
headphones. When you connect headphones, no signals
are output to the speakers.
7 VIDEO 2 jacks
These jacks are for connecting a video component such as
a camcorder or video game player. To select the
component connected to these jacks, select VIDEO2
with the INPUT button.
8 MEMORY
Stores the current station in the memory.
9 AUTO/MANL
Switches the tuning mode between automatic and manual.
0 A/B/C/D/E
Selects preset station groups A to E.
q PRESET/BAND
Switches the reception band between FM and AM and
also the mode between the tuning mode and the preset
mode.
w d PRESET/TUNING u
Selects preset station numbers 1 to 8 or the tuning
frequency.
e DSP
Selects the DSP program. This button is disabled when
the stereo mode is selected by the STEREO button.
r INPUT
Selects the input source you want to listen to or watch.
t INPUT MODE
Sets the priority for the types of input signals (AUTO,
DTS, ANALOG) to receive when one component is
connected to both digital and analog input jacks.
