192kHz.Thedevicealsohasdigitalaudioprocessing(DAP)thatprovides48-bitsignal
processing,advancedperformance,andahighlevelofsystemintegration.Thedevice
hasinterfacesforheadphoneoutputandpowersupplyvolumecontrol(PSVC).
TheTAS5142DKDisacompact,high-power,digitalamplifierpowerstagedesignedto
drivea4-Ωloudspeakerupto100W/10%THD+N.Itcontainsintegratedgatedrivers,
fourmatchedandelectricallyisolatedenhancement-modeN-channelpowerDMOS
transistors,andprotection/fault-reportingcircuitry.
TheDKDpackagehasaPowerPAD™onthetopsideforheattransferthrougha
heatsink.Theheatsinkinthisdesignisforevaluationpurposesonly.
ThisEVM,togetherwithaTIinput-USBboard,isacomplete7-channeldigitalaudio
amplifiersystem,whichincludesdigitalinput(S/PDIF),analoginputs,interfacetoPC,
andDAPfeatures,suchasdigitalvolumecontrol,inputandoutputmixers,automute,
equalization,tonecontrols,loudness,dynamicrangecompression,andPSVCoutput.
Thereareconfigurationoptionsforstereolineleveloutput,stereoheadphoneoutput,
andpower-stagefailureprotection.
This6.1systemisdesignedforhome-theaterapplications,suchasA/Vreceivers,DVD
minicomponentsystems,hometheaterinabox(HTIB),DVDreceivers,orplasma
displaypanels(PDPs).
